Private Pay

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CONFIDENCE IN CHOOSING CW SPEECH LANGUAGE SERVICES.

CW Speech Language Services accepts private-pay adult patients for in-home speech-language therapy.  A private-pay service model allows me the freedom to provide the appropriate and necessary therapeutic rehabilitative services without restriction from insurance companies regarding length of service, frequency of service, or therapy modality. This model allows me to provide the highest level of care individually tailored to meet the needs of each patient with maximum support to reach their therapy goals.

  • I am not a provider for any insurance companies.

  • If requested, I am happy to provide a superbill and documentation to be submitted by patients to their insurance company (except for Medicare) at the end of therapy to be reimbursed.  I am not a provider for Medicare and SLPs cannot opt out.

  • CW Speech Language Services does not submit insurance claims nor confirm patient eligibility for therapy services.

  • Patients are responsible for confirming their status with their insurance companies before the start of therapy.

  • The evidence-based therapy modalities I use are frequently covered by insurance.  I caution my patients that there is no guarantee of payment by insurance for therapy services even after pre-approval.  Patients are responsible for payment for therapy at the time of service.

  • The frequency and duration of therapy will be discussed, agreed upon, and documented by CW Speech Language Services and the patient or patient’s responsible party prior to the beginning of therapy.

  • CW Speech Language Services takes checks and credit cards as forms of payment.  Payments are due at the first session of the week for that week’s sessions.  Any missed sessions will be made up at the end of the agreed-upon duration of therapy.

  • Detailed Guidelines for Cancellations of Sessions due to unforeseen circumstances will be provided for patient signatures with additional documents before therapy starts.
