Cecilia Wisbrun, M.A., CCC-SLP is the owner of CW Speech Language Services, a mobile private pay practice providing therapy in homes, offices, and long-term care settings. Cecilia provides high quality specialized professional speech therapy services for adults to empower patients and their families to navigate challenges due to changes in function.

Cecilia’s mission is to help individuals improve speech-language communication, cognitive function, and swallowing safety to reduce aspiration pneumonia risk using gold standard evidence-based rehabilitation techniques combined with personalized caring support. This approach is designed to help individuals increase their quality of life by gaining maximum benefits from targeted therapy interventions. Patient and family participation can facilitate carryover of gains during and post therapy.

Seeing patients in their homes utilizes a supportive familiar environment to tailor evidence-based therapy modalities to each patient’s abilities. In-home therapy fosters improved focus and self-confidence for success as well as builds a foundation for carry-over for daily activities during and beyond therapy. Another benefit of providing private practice speech therapy is being able to use an integrated holistic approach individually designed to engage the patient as an active participant without the constraints of insurance restrictions on service delivery.
​Many individuals frequently need additional therapy beyond that covered by insurance. Safe swallowing therapy can enable patients to eat more safely by mouth and lower aspiration pneumonia risk. Studies show that patients can recover speech-language and cognitive skills for years after a stroke event. Evidence also shows speech therapy can help to improve function during daily activities while facing the challenges of dementia and other progressive neurological conditions. CW Speech is designed to fill the needs of patients whose insurance is denying coverage for therapy as well as for those who have no insurance or choose not to use it.

CW Speech can provide a super bill and documentation for patients to submit to their insurance providers for reimbursement at the end of therapy. Checks and credit cards are accepted at the time of service. We are a private pay practice and do not take insurance.
